Exposure principles & Photo Skills:
1. Aperture (depth of field): wider aperture, more light, wider depth of field. Smaller aperture, larger number. A larger aperture reduces the area of sharp focus, a smaller aperture expands the area of sharp focus.
Example: Faster shutter speed, taken at 1/1000 sec. that'll freeze what ever is moving in the image (Sports Modes).
ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/4 Aperture 5.6
ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/10 Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/25 Aperture: 9
ISO: 6400 : Shutter 1/50 Aperture: 11
2. Shutter Speed (Motion blur): if open for longer, more light goes in, but more motion blur. The longer the shutter stays open, the more light enters the camera. Like our eyelids, the camera shutter opens & closes to let light in. The faster the shutter, the less blur. Night time photography, keep the shutter open longer.
3. ISO Speed (Image noise): sensitivity in the camera, low number if there is a lot of light. Higher number if less light, but can pick up noise (little specks on the image).
Don't go further then f11 for landscape
